In January 11, the Advisory Board for Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs surprised Executive Director Nancy Lawry with a celebration honoring her ten years of leadership at Mooncrest. The Advisory Board celebrated "Nancy Lawry Day" with cake and fellowship, and included this text in their printed declaration:

A Proclamation Honoring Nancy Lawry

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has given 10 years of dedicated service to Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs and the children and families it serves and;

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has made significant contributions to the Felician Sisters Mission by honoring and continuing the vision of Sr. Rene and;

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has upheld the mission of Hopebound Ministries and;

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to the Mission and its core values and;

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has been an example of faith, giving and service to others in the tradition of the Felician Sisters and;

Whereas:   Nancy Lawry has been an example of Christian values to the staff, volunteers, and community...

It is hereby proclaimed: January 11, 2024 as Nancy Lawry Day at Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs -- The Sr. Rene Procopio Learning Center
